About the foundation

The history of the foundation begins with its active presence on Facebook and the launch of its first fundraiser, with the idea: «If 1,000 people each contribute 1,000 tenge, at least one home can be bought for one family in need.» On October 7, 2017, at the initiative of Gulmira Mukhankyzy, the Public Foundation «Kharekert Charity Foundation» was established under the motto «A home for 1,000 tenge.» Later, Madiyar Serikbayev — director, founder of the «Oner Kyrandary» theater, and public figure — joined the foundation as one of its co-founders. Today, the work of Gulmira Mukhankyzy is continued by her daughter, the current director of the foundation, Aidana Kaldybekkyzy, who tirelessly advances the charitable mission, bringing joy and hope to those in need.
